Bus Shop Hop
We are excited to be partnering with a few other shops in Northern IL for a bus shop hop! Included in the cost is transportation for the day on a coach bus and lunch will be provided at the shop we are at during the noon hour. The stops along the way will be Quilter's General Store in Rockford, The Fabric Center in Morris, Top Shelf Quilts in Mokena and Quilter's Quest in Downer's Grove. We will meet at Warman Cozy to get on the bus at 7:15AM and return to Warman Cozy at approx 6PM. A day of fun, adventure, inspiration and shopping while you get to relax and leave the planning and transportation up to us! Sign up now with your friends to reserve your spot! In this fun and festive class, you’ll create a whimsical Spellbound Witches Hat quilt block that’s full of personality and perfect for adding a touch of spooky charm to your seasonal décor. We will be using piecing, quilting and sewing techniques to make this fun project! Pattern included in price of class. It will be available to pick up about 2 weeks before class. Please Note! Beginning Sewing
Start your journey into the craft of sewing with this introductory class. Get a general overview of sewing with hands-on demonstrations of basic tools, techniques & patterns. Have fun, learn to sew, and in the process, create a fun pillowcase in just a few hours. Please arrive 15 minutes early to get your sewing machine set up. If you would like to select your fabric right before class please come at least a half hour ahead so we can assist you.

We have plans for some up-coming larger-scale EPP projects and this class is the first step towards being ready to jump into one of those with us. Let's roll up our sleeves and learn the basics of caring for these vintage beauties. Topics covered include: threading your machine, changing the lightbulb and basic maintenance including oiling and adding motor/gear grease. But please also bring your questions! A supply list will be sent out prior to the class. Please Note: This is not a repair class! If your machine is having more than just basic maintenance issues, we can take a look at it but you may need to schedule an appt with the repair technician.

Stitch School for Kids and Teens - Introductory Class
During this two-hour class, students will learn all about their sewing machine. They will understand how to set up their machine and then use it to sew. During the class, they will use their skills to make a drawstring bag from a fabric they choose, which is included in the class fee. This is the first step for the classes in our continual kid’s sewing program “Stitch School”. Students who want to sign up for that must take this introductory class first.
