Laura Quilted Jacket Class with Debbie

Have you ever wanted to make a quilted jacket? Then this class is for you! This class combines the quilting world with the apparel world. In this class we will make a jacket from start to finish. We will learn basic dressmaking skills and combine them with quilting. You will learn how to determine your size, pick your quilt design, adjust the pattern if necessary. Your piecing and quilting skills will be the first step. Putting it all together, learning to layout the pattern and cut, assemble , bind and make buttonholes. This class is open to experienced as well as beginning quilters. Full supply list will be sent out prior to the first class. Laura Jacket Pattern (included in class fee) will be available for you at the first class. The pattern is available for sizes XS - XL OR XL - 6X (keep in mind that the pattern sizing runs small and you may want to size up one or two sizes from what you normally wear) and we will help you determine what size jacket you want to make at the first class. 

This particular class is for those who want to piece a quilt to make their jacket from. We will be offering this jacket in a separate class in the future for those who want to make it from a quilt they already have pieced and quilted.
